Waco and Annette Lane are high school sweethearts and the owners of The Goddard School of Moore. They have three children, Ethan (& wife Elizabeth), Clayton, and Cora. Waco is a retired Marine Officer and Annette is a homemaker. Waco holds a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration. Annette studied Cellular and Molecular Biology, however, she decided to leave college early to join Waco in his career and soon after start a family. Waco and Annette are passionate about developing children into lifelong learners and critical thinkers in a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. They chose to open a Goddard School because they understand the impact early childhood education can have on a child’s future success.
Morgan Reese is the Director of Operations at The Goddard School of Moore. Her and her husband, Samuelle, have a son, Matthew and plan to continue growing their family. Morgan has a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor's degree in Christian Theology from Zephaniah Theology School and completed coursework in Early Childhood Education from Capital University. She has been working in the early childhood education field since 2010, beginning as an assistant teacher. Over the years, she saw the importance of strong leadership in early childhood education and became passionate about leading and empowering teachers to make a bigger impact on the children they serve. This inspired her to pursue management within the field. Being the Director of Operations allows her to create a culture of high-quality childcare that builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning through the relationships with the staff, children, and families of The Goddard School.
Shannon is currently working on her education degree and has six years of experience working with children through teaching dance and survival swim lessons. She joined the Goddard Family in December of 2023 after seeing the high standard of education at our school. Shannon loves watching her students grow both personally and educationally as she watches their interests develop. She is married and has a son who has taught her a lot of what it takes to be a caring teacher for her students. Her favorite children's book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. In her free time, Shannon enjoys drawing and spending time with her son.
Christine has been a paraprofessional for over 20 years and has experience working with children of all learning abilities. She took a break to watch her grandchildren and now that they are older, has decided to join the Goddard Family in June of 2024. She truly enjoys seeing the children's "a-ha" moments when they get a new concept down. Her favorite children's book is "Love You, Forever" by Robert Munsch. In her free time, Christine likes to make mesh wreaths and take them to craft shows. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
Maria is originally from Slovakia and is a military wife that moved to Oklahoma with her husband and daughter. She joined the Goddard Family in February of 2024 due to her love of working with children and desire to help them overcome challenges. Maria's favorite children's book is "The Pigeon Needs a Bath!" by Mo Willems. In her free time, Maria loves painting with acrylics and salsa dancing.
Rikki has her Associates Degree in the Arts and has a desire to pursue more education in the early childhood education field. She joined the Goddard Family in March of 2024 because she wanted to be a part of something meaningful and there is nothing more important than investing in children. Rikki loves getting to be a positive influence on young lives and creating a safe place for them to flourish. She also loves how rewarding it is to come to work each day and see her student's smiling faces. In her free time, Rikki loves going on road trips, going to movies and concerts, and taking her three dogs on walks.
Sarah has her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and joined the Goddard Family in May of 2024 after graduation. She enjoys watching children learn and understand new concepts and is excited to get to know the children and families in her classroom. Her favorite children's book is "Big Red Barn" by Margaret Wisc Brown. Sarah also enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as swimming when she has free time.
Annie is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Oklahoma in November of 2022. She has worked in early childhood education for nine years and has worked in a Goddard school in Missouri for five of those years. She joined our Goddard Family in February of 2023 as a part of our opening staff. Annie is engaged to a Marine Corp Veteran and together they have a son. During her free time, Annie enjoys spending time at her parents’ lake house fishing and riding ATV’s. Music plays a huge roll in her teaching methods, and you will most likely hear her singing songs to the children to teach them colors, numbers, and everyday tasks. Annie is looking forward to building relationships with her students and the families of our school. She also is excited to get the opportunity to help the staff learn and grow.
Wayne moved to Oklahoma in June of 2023 from Ohio to be closer to family. He joined the Goddard Family in December of 2023 as a substitute kitchen staff after a lifelong career in Cosmetology. When a full-time position opened up, he was excited to join our team and cook for the students each day. Wayne loves to cook and enjoys seeing the students try new foods. When he comes down the hall with each meal, he is always greeted with excitement by our students! Wayne also loves spending his free time practicing martial arts, gardening, and spending time with his family.
